Samsung does not 3D TVs this year from more

Samsung brings this year no 3D TVs anymore. However, the South Korean company will bring more flat versions of a series of curved screens on the market.

Samsung has introduced the latest TV models in Monaco put on the market this year. None of the new models has support for 3D, the company confirms to Home Cinema Magazine .

It is unclear why Samsung chose not to use the 3D technology. Possibly too little interest there. Screens with a high resolution, such as 4K and 8K, seem more popular.

Samsung could also have decided to release some of the new curved TV screens, called curved screens, even in a flat version.

The TVs have the same properties as the curved version, such as software and hardware, but with a flat screen.

This decision ensures that consumers have more choice when choosing a new television. Flat screens are generally cheaper than the curved versions.
